The isHRT CommDTM is a Device Type Manager compatible with all FDT 1.2.1 compliant frame applications such as Pactware and Fieldcare. It requires the isHRT USB communication interface as its hardware base and provides a standard FDT approach for the management and configuration of the communication interface. It is similar to a device driver that facilitates communication between the HART bus and their device DTMs, allowing for commissioning of the field devices from one central location.
